On June 25, 2020, ACE NY, Solar Energy Industries Association, American Council on Renewable Energy, and American Wind Energy Association hosted a virtual town hall.
The virtual townhall attracted over 270 participants, including a New York Department of Public Service (DPS) Commissioner, key staff from the DPS, the NY State Senate and Assembly, NYSERDA, the NY Department of Environmental Conservation, the Office of the State Comptroller, the Budget Office, as well as utilities, transmission developers, public power, wind and solar developers, labor, environmental nonprofits, local law firms, and grassroots environmental advocates.

This was the theme of ACE NY’s recent virtual event: Clean Energy and Transmission Town Hall. The June 25th webinar featured a new video, a welcoming introduction by Senate Energy and Telecommunications Committee Chair Kevin Parker, and a keynote by newly appointed Deputy Secretary for Energy and Environment Ali Zaidi.
